I recently took the test over at PersonalDNA. It’s pretty interesting. They say that I’m a “generous inventor.” Not too far off the mark. Here are the results:

Hello,
I happened upon your name while searching other things. My mother’s maiden name was Dobrofsky. Her father Jacob was from a fishing family in Mena, Russia. I wonder if we are somehow related several generations back.

I’m still working it out Esther – but what I have found out is that my grandfather was from Yelisavetgrad in the Kherson region of Ukraine. Mena – so far as I can tell – is also in Ukraine but northeast of Kyiv. It’s possible that we are related.
