I find it odd that the New York Times continually portrayed the Israeli military response against Hezbollah as being completely disproportionate.  Now consider that the Hezbollah initiated the conflict by crossing the Internationally recognized border between Israel and Lebanon, fired off rockets at Israeli military units, killed 3 Israeli soldiers and then proceeded to kidnap another two Israeli soldiers (who are still being held captive despite the fact that Israel has agreed to U.N. Security Council resolution 1701 which creates the conditions for a cease-fire between Israel and Hezbollah and requires the immediate release of these two soldiers).  Throughout this conflict the New York Times (as well as other media outlets throughout the world) continually portrayed the Arab point of view that this was Israeli aggression. No matter what, the truth is that the world is anti-Israel for reasons I cannot understand — especially the Europeans.  I was sent the following graphic that sums up what the New York Times would have looked like back in 1943 had today’s editors been around.  Enjoy it.  It shows how the New York Times is truly an anti-Israel newspaper!
